What is NexTV™?
NexTV™ is an embedded application that allows users to watch high quality digital broadcasting on a mobile device. NexTV™ includes highly optimized H.264 and HE AAC/BSAC decoders and image processing routines, which enables rapid data processing up to 30 frames of CIF/QVGA video per second under the constraint of CPU power and the memory. NexTV™ is designed to fit to various CDM/OFDM chips and multimedia processors to increase versatility in usage. Rapid channel selection, video recording, a DMB player for PC (NexTV™ for PC), and other features are included in the solution for user satisfaction. NexTV™ Satellite DMB and terrestrial DMB are already implemented in many mass-market phones and NexTV™ DVB-H is scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2006.
